Because I didn't feel well on the descent and after the previous night, I decided to set my alarm for two hours before my afternoon class. If I wake up in time for my morning class, all the power to me. But I had to be in the afternoon class because it's the last class for Internship Toolkit ever. Plus, the rest of the class was presenting. Also, Xanthy said it was mandatory. Blah.
Class was boring as usual. I think I lost some respect points with Matt because I pulled out a sudoku book I had got in Edinburgh. (The book came with a free pencil!) Afterwards, Matt, Shelby, and I parted ways. Matt and Shelby go to the same school, and I don't think I'll see Shelby anytime soon. As for Matt and I, we have plans to see Cowboys and Aliens this summer. He's originally from Minnesota, so we'll meet halfway somewhere and go see it together. I can't wait. Doesn't this movie look ridiculously awesome? Who would have thought to put aliens in a western??
Then I went to check into Ryanair for this weekend. Because I had yet to do that. I have to also book my easyBus tickets yet. I'll do that later.
After class, when I got home, I was super busy. I wanted to blog about Italy, then I wanted to upload the photos right away, and then I wanted to talk with friends back home because I miss them about as much as I miss my family. So I told Jessica and Teagan to get on Skype when they can through email. And Jessica got on right away but I didn't get to talk with Teagan until the next day. Anyway, once Italy Day 1 was uploaded on Facebook, I couldn't upload the second album, I blogged about Day 2 but wanted to blog about Day 3 once Day 2 photos were uploaded.
Then Jessica called and I put my updating errands on hold to talk with her. I told her I dropped the Anime class we were going to take together because I needed to make room for working hours. She said she understood, but here's the catch. I'm still going to sneak into that class on Mondays when they screen anime. I'm not going to work on Mondays, and it'll be fun to actually have a class with some actual friends. Besides, Working Title is on Mondays. We can go to class, eat dinner together, and then go to WT. W00t.
Chris knocked while Jessica was on the line. He said that Hattie and him hadn't seen me for a while and they wanted to see where I was. I said I was in Italy. By the way, this is Jessica, Jessica, this is Chris. You can't see Jessica now because she's having some webcam issues with Gmail video. "Hey Jessica, you look very beautiful," Chris said. Haha. He said I should hang with him and Hattie if I get a moment, and I would have except I didn't have a moment. Went to bed about midnight because I was tired and had to get to work the next day.

8 Dec:
Work was a lot of research. I have a giant 12-page list of names of artists to look up for Contemporary Art in AFrica. You never knew Africa had so many artists, did you? All the names are in alphabetical order thanks to Microsoft Excel. And I didn't even get to the Cs on Wednesday. I just got through the As and most of the Bs. Sheesh. This will last until my last day. I'm also looking for pictures and I'm marking the ones that are interesting to me. For those that are not, I'm giving the website where you can find their gallery or biography, and if I can't find adequate information, I delete them from the list. So many artists from Africa!!
On my way home, I decided that I didn't want just any old pasta with white sauce, I wanted chicken in there too! So I stopped at Sainsbury's Local by Waterloo station on my way home. Got some chicken breasts, impulse buy on a caesar salad mix, bought about 8 bread rolls (already ate three; I love those things). I had myself a real meal going on. Fried up one chicken breast. Once that was gone, added the white sauce to get that hot. Boiled more noodles than I thought I did, which let no room on my plate for a part of the salad, so I stored that to eat the next day. Put a roll in the oven for a few minutes until it was nice and toasted. A real nice Italian-esque meal for me! And it was delicious.
There were some antics going on outside my room. Twice, someone poked their head into my room for an instant before rushing off. I thought I heard someone calling my name, and then someone knocked on my door. But no one was there when I answered. I wasn't going to play along with these shenanigans -- I was busy blogging and updating and getting mad at Facebook for their lack of photo uploading. So I locked the door so no one could open my door again. They left after about an hour to probably party or something. I stayed behind and fell asleep at a reasonable hour.
